Comment by Pat McCall on April 1, 2009 at 8:37am: I wanted to give you an advanced heads up on a great event and opportunity for actors in the Sarasota area. Lori Wyman, CSA and owner of Wyman Casting in Miami and I have teamed up for a special weekend workshop the last weekend in May. I am coordinating things and will let you know(if you want) more details as they become available. The first thing I can tell you is that Lori will be doing a booksigning (The Organic Actor - Secrets to Auditioning for Film and TV) starting at 6:30PM at Sarasota News & Books in downtown Sarasota on May 29. She will also be doing the workshop for two whole days on Auditioning as well. This is limited to 16 actors as there will be a lot of on camera work. Lori is keeping the price the same as her price in Miami - $275 for the workshop. I am working on a good location as I write this.

Lori Wyman, an Emmy award nominee and ARTIOS award winning casting director and author, is committed to helping actors achieve their dreams and goals of pursuing their passion for acting. A member of the Casting Society of America, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the National Speakers Association she is considered one of the top casting directors in the entire Southeastern United States.
